A three-stage project has been established to review and
upgrade the Northern Territory hydrologic (surface water)
information network. The discussion document, forming Stage One of the project, has been prepared to provide a basis for
comment on network philosophy and information requirements.
Volume One describes the current
setting of data collection, processing and analysis. The
network design concepts adopted, and the factors considered in
the design and review of networks of gauging and meteorological
stations, are described.,
