The former anomaly is consid ered the only type I anomaly in this area. Between 700mW and 1100mW on Traverse 3, a weak, broad anomaly is indicated. YES 2 is located at this site. OLher weak anomalies occur on Traverse 2, centred at O?, 500mW and 750mW although these hav,' less lateral extent. The two targets on Traverse 4, the broad anomaly on Traverse 3, and the weaker anomalies on Traverse 2 may represent a NW-striking low resistivity feature, more pronounced to the north. 3.1.2 Area 2 Apparent resistivities for the area range from 90.Rm to over 500Jan. The average resistivity for the n~2 profiles is flpproximately 200llm, except for the westernmost line. Traverse 15. where the average resistivity is approximately 400!l.m. For tilis line, the n~l values ar(> similar to the n~2 values, impl ying I.igh(>r rpsistivities and/or a decrease in the thlckn(>ss of geoelectric layer 2. Three primary targets are indicated in this area loeat(>ct on Trav(>rses 12, 15 and 16 at 1350mS, 450mS and 700m3 respectIvely. All are defined by strong anomalies in the n~2 profiles and occur over a minimum of two data points. In addition, n=2 values fall below n=l apparent r sistivities Implying considerable depth extent. Five type II anomalies are also inferred in this area. These are centred at 300m3 and 950mS on Tra.verse 12, 500mN and 600m3 on Traverse 13 and at 350mS on Traverse 16. Boreholes 22087 and 21947 are located at 30mS on Traverse 13. A type II anomaly is indicated in the n~2 profile at this location. 3.1.3 Area 3 Apparent resistivities in Arpa ;l ran::;e from 50Qrn to 500nm wi Lll tlH? 10w<:'r r('sistivi ty values rcostricted mainly to
