DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT AND WORKS WATER DIVISION JABIRU TOWN WATER SUPPLY GEOPHYSICAL INVESTIGATION - NANAMBU CREEK AREA 1. INTRODUCTION Australian Groundwater Consultants Pty. Limited were contracted to undertake a geophysical investigation in the Nanambu Creek area as part of an overall brief providing technical assist ance to the N.T. Department of Transport and Works, Water Division, in an investigation to prove a viable groundwater supply source for the proposed Jabiru township. Two major areas were geophysically investigated: (i) the townsite, and (ii) near the Yourmill Waterhole, Nanambu Creek Area This report covers the geophysical programme carried out in the Nanambu Creek area. It presents the data with preliminary interpretations. The results should be continually reviewed as test drilling progresses
