Frequent flat sandstone outcrop. Indeterminate drainage. Very shallow red sandy soils with frequent scalds and sandstone outcrop. Savannah as in 7a. Grasses predominantly Eriachne and ~nneapogon with frequent bare scald patches and 'local areas of the perennial grasses of 7a. Sheetwash which is severe on steeper slopes. Mainly very stable. Rough wet season grazing; if improvement of 7a should be succes8ful then this improvement work could be extended a.t least into parts of this un! t.
