The Northern Territory Government Gazette No. G9, 1 March 2006 Page 3 Control of Roads Act PROPOSAL TO OPEN ROAD I, TERRANCE LEONARD GADSBY, as the Delegate of the Surveyor-General, pursuant to section 18 of the Control of Roads Act (a) give notice of a proposal to open a road over Northern Territory Portion 5466, the boundaries of which are indicated by the bold lines on the diagram in the Schedule and delineated on Survey Plan S98/08; and (b) advise that the adjoining owners are (i) Airservices Australia (ii) Road Transport Historical Society Incorporated (iii) Ghan Preservation Society Incorporated Dated 20th February, 2006. T. L. GADSBY Delegate of the Surveyor-General NOTE: Survey Plan No. S98/08 may be inspected at the office of the Surveyor-General, Level I, Alice Plaza, Alice Springs. Under section 20 of the Act, a person may at any time within 28 days from and including the date of publication of this notice in the Gazette or local newspaper, whichever is the later date, object to the proposal by serving notice, stating the grounds for objections, on the Minister either personally or by post. 3/9 Objections may be lodged with the Minister for Lands and Planning, PO Box 2130, Alice Springs NT 0871. SCHEDULE DIAGRAM OF PROPOSED ROAD Liquor Act RESTRICTED AREA NEAR HERMANNSBURG The Northern Territory Licensing Commission gives notice that, pursuant to section 48B(l)(c) of the Interpretation Act, it has corrected its decision to declare areas near Hermannsburg township (the "Hermannsburge area") to be a restricted area pursuant to Part VIII of the Liquor Act, which was published in Gazette No. G46 on 19 November 1982 (the "Gazette notice"). The correction is made by including the following after paragraph (c) of the description of the Hermannsburge area in the decision: (d) Each road in an area referred to in paragraph (a), (b) or (c) that is excluded from the Northern Territory Portion referred to in that paragraph. In addition, the Commission, pursuant to section 82 of the Liquor Act and with reference to section 43 of the Interpretation Act, amends the Gazette Notice by including the following after paragraph (c) in the notice: (d) Each road in area referred to in paragraph (a), (b) or (c) that is excluded from the Northern Territory Portion referred to in that paragraph. SCHEDULE Restricted Area near Herrnannsburg (a) Ail that parcel ofland near the township of Hermannsburg in the Northern Territory of Australia containing an area 62310 hectares more or less, being Northern Territory Portion 2078 which is held in the name of Uruna Land Trust. (b) Ail that parcel ofland near the township of Hermannsburg in the Northern Territory of Australia containing an area 88030 hectares more or less, being Northern Territory Portion 2079 which is held in the name of Ntaria Land Trust. (c) All that parcel ofland near the township of Hermannsburg in the Northern Territory of Australia containing an area of 12100 hectares more or less, being Northern Territory Portion 2075 which is held in the name of Ltalaltuma Land Trust. (d) Each road in an area referred to in paragraph (a), (b) or (c) that is excluded from the Northern Territory Portion referred to in that paragraph. 4/9 Crown Lands Act TERMINATION OF APPOINTMENT AND APPOINTMENT OF TRUSTEES FOR RESERVE NO. 1223 (AILERON RACECOURSE RESERVE) I, ELLIOT ARTHUR McADAM, the Minister for Local Government (a) pursuant to section 79(2) of the Crown Lands Act, terminate all appointments in force immediately before the date of this instrument of persons as trustees of Reserve No. 1223 (Aileron Racecourse Reserve); and
