AAGAARD Minister for Health and Community Services Poisons and Dangerous Drugs Act AMENDMENTS OF SCHEDULES I, JANE LESLEY AAGAARD, the Minister for Health and Community Services, in pursuance of section 90(1) of the Poisons and Dangerous Drugs Act and relying on section 38 of the Interpretation Act, being satisfied as to the matters referred to in section 90(2) of the Poisons and Dangerous Drugs Act, amend to the extent necessary (a) Schedule II in Part A of the schedules to the Act so that it is the same as Schedule 9 in the document entitled "Standard for the Uniform Scheduling of Drugs and Poisons No. 17", as amended by Amendment No. 1 and Amendment No.2, prepared by the National Drugs and Poisons Schedule Committee under section 52D of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 of the Commonwealth (in this instrument called "the document"); (b) Schedules I to 8 (inclusive) in Part B of the schedules to the Act so that each schedule is the same as the schedule of the same number in the document; (c) Schedules 4 and 8 in Part B of the schedules to the Act so as to include Appendix D of the document; and (d) Schedule 7 in Part B of the schedules to the Act so as to include Appendix J of the document, with effect on and from 1 January 2003.
