Production company Shine Australia is putting together a television competition called The Renovators - and is looking for Territorians to take part. The winner will be declared Australia's Best Renovator. The prize hasn't been made public yet but the producers promise that it will be one of the richest'' in Australian TV history. Shine, which created the hit Channel Ten series Masterchef Australia, said it particularly wanted Territory entrants. Do you have what it takes to turn a derelict house into a real estate goldmine?'' it said. Then this is the competition for you.'' The company predicts that the The Renovators will turn the design and renovation industry on its head''. In the winner-takes-all battle, contestants will have six months to make over some of Australia's most rundown houses. At the same time, they must also fight for competition survival in a series of design, decorating and construction challenges.
