Duties: Distribution Supervisor Undergmuml. Responsible for construction, operation and maintenance of power distribution systems. Supervise PAWA staff, trainees and contractors engaged in construction, operation and maintenance of distribution system infrastructure. Organise manpower. materials, plant equipment and contract resources to ensure that all scheduled works are carried out in a timely and cost effective manner. Assist with the development and monitoring of budgets and performance criteria. Liaise with management, engineering, technical and operational personnel. Provide leadership in team building initiatives. Selection Criteria: Essential: Formal trade qualifications in an electrical stream appropriate to the utilities industry; PAWA High Voltage Operator Certificate or the ability to obtain: Extensive practical experience and knowledge of industry practices and standards associated with the construction, operation and maintenance of electricit), supply distribution systems; demonstrated ability to organise; ability to provide leadership and clear direction to work teams and contractors; high level of oral and written communication skills; ability to deliver a high quality of customer service.
