Canteen Coordinator A big thank you to Nick Barnard who has kindly offered to see out the rest of the year as Canteen Coordinator. We are still in need of a Coordinator for 2008. Without a parent stepping forward this is a service that will no longer be provided to the children. This is an honorary position requiring one morning a week (the day can be changed by negotiation) plus ordering time. No banking of monies is required. School Council Last week was a busy week for School Council, meeting twice to discuss the Study undertaken by Dr Loyd Fyffe on the Strategic Development of Lutheran Education, Top End, NT. The discussions were led by our District Director for Lutheran Education, Barry Kahl. School Council meets again next week where this report will again be discussed. Once a resolution on possible future directions is made, discussions will be widened to include all stakeholders. Be prepared for exciting and innovative development. RLSSA Swimming Lessons Swimming lessons continue until Thursday this week. Certificates will be issued by RLSSANT a few weeks after our swimming program has been completed. Disco/ Social The SRC will be holding a disco on Friday 9 November at 6.30 pm till 9pm. The PFA will be organizing a meal, drinks and glow sticks to make this a great family night. More details coming. The SRC will be charging a $2 entry fee to pay for the DJ and equipment. Pizza Friday Dont forget that it is 5/6/7 Pizza Friday and all orders should be in by now. Pies, sausage rolls and drinks will not be available on Friday.
