This year the event will be held from Saturday 5th April to Sunday 13th April. In the NT, NYW has become our biggest youth celebration where young people get involved, have fun and participate in heaps of events and activities. NYW is all about young people! The theme is to celebrate and recognise the value of all young Australians to their communities. The slogan for NYW 2008 is Shout. Share. Live. Unite. The National Youth Week Calendar of Events is now available at: ww.nt.gov.au/dcm/youth_affairs Help raise money for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) by taking part in the annual MS Readathon: Reading Dates: June 1st June 30th 2008 Children can register online www.msreadathon.org.au Or collect a registration booklet from the local school or library. Schools who would like a trained MS Readathon Representative to speak to students about: multiple sclerosis how they can help by joining MS Readathon can find more information by emailing: msreadathon@missociety.com.au MS Readathon 2008 Calling on PAST and PRESENT students of Leanyer Primary School. Feedback from the schools summit will be channelled into the Youth Summit (April 12th and 13th) which in turn will provide feedback to the national summit.
