PAGE 6PRESS JUNE 2010 EDITION COOMALIE COMMUNITY GOVERNMENT COUNCIL NEW WEBSITE YOUR COMMUNITY - YOUR WEBPAGE TELL US WHAT YOU WANT ON COUNCILS WEBSITE www.coomalie.nt.gov.au WELCOME TO THE NEW COOMALIE COMMUNITY GOVERNMENT COUNCIL WEBSITE. This new site represents a substantial upgrade in the Council's ability to provide information and services on the web. Our previous website had become impossible to maintain because the technology in use had become obsolete. The new site has been developed in an easy-to-support content management system that will allow Council staff to readily update and add information and content. You'll see some familiar content and some new items. Council is hoping that the community will become more involved in shaping the structure and content of your website. We invite and welcome your comments and suggestions. Website Banner Photo Submissions The new website features a display of panorama photographs, and we desperately need more to include on the website. So come on Coomalie snappers, send in your photos that can be cropped to the panorama dimensions on the home page of the new website and have your work immortalized on the worldwide web.
