Inevitably unsuccessful tenderers outnumber those awarded contracts; moreover among the rejected offers may well be some only marginally less attractive than the winning bid. Successful tenderers will be notified as soon as the tender recommendation has been approved DO NOT enter into any commitment unless you are NOTIFIED IN WRITING that your tender has been accepted. Unsuccessful tenderers may ask to be debriefed. Tenderers who take up this opportunity to learn and improve should be prepared for the discussion to be in terms of the merits and deficiencies of their own offer. Information that could in any way compromise confidentiality of other tenders cannot be released. DISCLAIMER: Please note that not all "Contracts Awarded" are included in this list. Full details of "Contracts Awarded" are available on our internet website: www.nt.gov.au/tenders Contracts awarded FUTURE TENDER OPPORTUNITIES Future Tender Opportunities are advance notification of tenders to be advertised by Government Departments. Future Tender Opportunities will be advertised at least two months in advance of the expected tender release date for tenders with an estimated value of $200,000, and above. Future Tender Opportunities are available on Tenders Online Internet Site www.nt.gov.au/tenders. Future Tender Opportunities are also advertised in the NT News on the first Thursday of each month. LODGING A TENDER Remember, a second late is . . . TOO LATE! Your tender must be received in full prior to 2:00pm Australian CST By Hand Make sure your courier knows exactly where the tender box is located and understands the tender must be lodged before the closing time. By Facsimile Fax your tender well before closing time. Respondent should ensure that the fascimile is sent with enough time for the submission to be received in full, accounting for possible delays in transmission times. Via Tenders Online eLodgement Service www.nt.gov.au/Tenders When using this service only submit the Tender Response Schedules and other essential information. Print a copy of the on-screen lodgement receipt as this shows the date and time that the NT Government Lodgement host server received the tender and is your only evidence of lodgement. Request for Tender (RFT) and Request for Public Quotation (RFPQ) documentation can be downloaded to prospective tenderers' personal computers and also provides information regarding bids against closed tenders and tenders awarded. The Tenders website provides a secure Electronic Tender Lodgement (eLodgement) service. This service is an alternative to paper or faxed tender lodgments. To use the service, tenderers submit their reponse via eLodgement in a process similar to attaching a file to an email message. Larger Tender/Quote documents that are not available for download from the Internet site can be posted to prospective tenderers. This is achieved by completing a request for postal issue via the Internet site. Hard copy documents are still available for collection. For further information please contact the Tenders Manager, Contract and Procurement Services, Department of Business and Employment on telephone (08) 8999 1933.
