information evening on Tuesday 22nd June. Come along and hear from Samantha Rahlf, the Chamber's Enviromental Officer, on how you can monitor your businesses environmental sustainability. Small to medium businesses often don't consider the environmental impact of their business and their obligation to maintain a sustainable environment within their industry. This information session will provide a starting point for SME's to consider what the environmental risk of their business is, and how the risk can be reduced. Internal Environmental Auditing - How do I develop checklists? - Assessing environmental risk - Legislation - What do I report on? - Developing action plans For more information on this session please see the attached flyer, or contact Samantha on 8982 8112 or srahlf@chambernt.com.au. [Back to Top] ACCI 2010 Pre-Election Survey The 2010 Federal election will be held sometime this year and it is important that the newly elected Government is aware of not only which issues are of concern to the business community, but also which issues have the greatest priority. We therefore need your help in determining which are the most important issues for Government from a business point of view. The Chamber of Commerce Northern Territory along with other state chambers, national industry associations and the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry are together conducting this survey to determine which are the priority issues for business at this time. Your response to these questions will ensure that we accurately reflect your concerns in our representations and submissions to the political parties during the pre-election period and after the election of the next Government of Australia. The online survey will close on Monday, 21 June 2010.
