P A G E 2 From the Principal SHAVE FOR A CURE THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR $1220 OF SUPPORT! As you can see it was a great assembly and my head is feeling much cooler! Special thanks to the following people: Our wonderful students who raised so much money to support kids with leukaemia Ill never forget our transition students eyes as big as saucers as we coloured up and shaved for a cure The Mayor of Palmerston Mr Robert McLeod and our local MLA Mr Ross Bohlin your support was highly appreciated for coming along, donating funds and colouring up Patti Turner for her excellent co-ordination of the event Bryan Downing and Tash Ryan for donning colour and supporting this important fundraising event Jo from The Shearing Shed Hairdressing Salon at Howard Springs for donating her time and equipment and safely shaving Mr P. The driving force for my shave was in memory of a courageous and inspiring 4 year old boy who our family had the pleasure of befriending while we were staying at Ronald McDonald house at Westmead Hospital. Funds raised across Australia will help research which will result in more children surviving leukaemia in the future. BUILDING THE EDUCATION REVOLUTION (BER) UPDATE The steel work is commencing on the roof structure on our library extension Work will commence on the amphitheatre roof and stage upgrade the week before the holidays The kitchen design is complete and work should commence during the Easter vacation We are claiming two car parks adjacent to the pedestrian crossing to improve safety. A stop sign has also been installed at the exit to our new front carpark. The Principals carpark will move into the front carpark to ensure staff have an additional carpark to compensate for the two that will be lost due these pedestrian safety improvements.
