Saturday 8th May Commodores Opening Day. Keeping watching for the 2010 theme. We wish all those using the Darwin Sailing Club for functions an enjoyable and memorable visit to the club. House Update to Members: You will be aware, if you have been at the club lately that the bar renovations have started to gain momentum. Last weekend a large part of the demolition of the old bar took place. Thank you to members Lindsay Lane, and Dan Bascheria. A big thank you to the bar staff who volunteered to come in, in there time and assist. Bindi Johnson, Adrian Munroe we would also like to thank Steve Beard and Ethan Neaves. Everyone's assistance is much appreciated. To Rear Commodore House was it an accident or were you testing the first aid response of DSC staff? Can we suggest you watch were you put your hand in future. The DSC staff cope very well with first aid emergencies and so do the medical staff at RDH neither party required at their particular speciality.. The rock wall upgrade has commenced and Ostojic is moving towards DSC, we will soon have movement at the front of the club. News from the Bar: Wine of the Month Jamiesons Run Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon Jamiesons Run Limestone Coast $25.00 bottle or $6.00 per glass The bar renovations will provide members with more choice of draught beers as well as two new coolrooms for beer, draught beer will be at 4C and packaged beer at 0C. A red wine chiller and new glass chillers will also be installed.
