25 March 2009 47 PBS1a: Strengthen system technical and statistical capacity to capture, quality assure and analyse student participation and achievement data. Terms of Reference: Specific Objective Five Examine the effect of a range of Australian Government funded programs delivered in urban, regional and remote Northern Territory schools and the likely future needs to support the Australian Governments education revolution. COH5a: Continue ongoing negotiations with the Australian Government to model funded programs on a need to provide coherent, long term support to schools, teachers and school leaders. COH5b: Strengthen inter-agency coordination and delivery of Australian and Territory government infrastructure supports required to deliver the Australian Governments education revolution. Terms of Reference: Specific Objective Six Make recommendations about the most appropriate supporting mechanisms, management systems and delivery models to ensure effective services outcomes. COH2b: Align service delivery support with overall DET regional structure. PBS 2b: Establish more regular and timely evaluation of service delivery functions, incorporating information developed for performance reviews of personnel and schools. Terms of Reference: Specific Objective Seven To identify priority areas requiring specific support and strengthen a regional approach to supporting schools REG1: Increase government delivery of housing in remote and very remote locations. REG2: Increase formal consultation with local community representatives, particularly in relation to established Indigenous communities. REG3: Continue expansion and improvement of IT infrastructure across the Territory. REG4: Increase capacity building of legislated School Councils in relation to broader issues of community governance.
