Sports Day at Noonamah, 1943. "As time wore on and the raids wore off, and the Japs were in N.G. the troops became bored very easily, so the High-uppers organised this sporting arena at Noonamah area. This shows one day when we Sisters off duty were invited to attend. We enjoyed it, very much." (L. Laffer). Elevated view across sports field and track. Crowds of service men around perimeter.,
