39 Working for Outcomes is the Northern Territory Public Sectors financial management framework based on outputs and the accrual methodology for budgeting, accounting and reporting. The framework ensures appropriate resource allocation and allows agencies to monitor, evaluate and improve the delivery of services to the Northern Territory community. The diagram below illustrates how the departments diverse outputs, gathered into four output groups, contribute to its common vision of a secure, fair and just society.
