Births, Deaths and Marriages Registry The Births, Deaths and Marriages Office registers and issues certificates of births, deaths, marriages, adoptions and changes of name, and provides search facilities, marriage celebrant and statistical services for medical and Government research. Access to the records is based on an access policy and generally is restricted to the registered person, parents of minors and nonparental legal custodians or guardians. A fee is charged for the issue of certificates and registering changes of name. Output: Office of the Public Trustee The Office of the Public Trustee provides will-making, trustee and estate administration services and manages restrained and forfeited property under the Criminal Property Forfeiture Act.
