(2) The OCP has been subject to a structural review since BP3 was compiled and the capacity to provide policy and advice has been increased. (3) There was increased emphasis on community support activities in response to an unanticipated level of calls for assistance from the community sector, which is showing an interest in partnering the NTG to build a safer community in the Northern Territory. This focus on community support activities meant that fewer crime prevention program coordination activities were possible in 2005-06 (4) Grants awarded in 2005-06 could not be disbursed due to the delays in preparation of legal agreements by some communities.
