The Wagaitear, April 2009 11 Dear Community Member, Help us celebrate Back to the Banyan on May 2nd, 2009. The Cox Country Cub will be celebrating its 20th anniversary of its official opening on May 2nd and we wish to invite you to help us celebrate this inaugural event. Our Back to the Banyan party will commemorate all community members who have helped build and who have supported this club since its opening in 1989. We would like to invite all members of the community to participate in childrens entertainment, backyard cricket, sack races, tug of war, face painting, games, prizes, raffles and much more! Join us for an 11 am start with lunch at 1 pm and musical entertainment for the day. See you there! We are looking for stories and old memories that people have to reminisce on the night, so please help us answer the following question and return to the Wagait Beach Supermarket upon completion. What has been your association with the club in the last 20 years? What are your fondest memories of the Cox Country Club? Can you suggest any old members who have any memorabilia or stories?
