The Festival generally has an idea of who it would like to invite be part of the program. Therefore, we do not encourage unsolicited applications. However NT artists are encouraged to send in an application particularly for projects involving collaboration with artists in various art forms; Indigenous artists and youth projects. E: contact@darwinfestival.org.au W: www.darwinfestival.org.au ABC Artpost Ongoing Regional Arts Australia has a new partnership with ABC television - Artpost. Artpost is an opportunity for all artists in Australia, working in any medium, to tell the world about their work by uploading a little movie or still photograph montage about their work. ABC Television and Radio will be using the website as a tool to find good stories. The site is very new so the sooner you get up there the better. The process is very simple all the tools you need and a tutorial are on to the site, and have a look at the posts that are already on the map. Please post a profile yourself, or track down the artists in your town and create one about them. To make the register successful, TEAM would like to include as many groups and performers as possible of all types - musicians, actors, dancers, and storytellers - and need to include performers from towns and from remote communities. TEAM hopes to include the Top Ends best known performers with national and international reputations, but also people who may so far be known only in their home communities.
