Opportunities- Darwin Territory Craft Workshops Starting 2 November, Connacher Street, Bullocky Point, Fanny Bay Territory Craft has a number of fully equipped studios where workshops and classes are conducted. The workshops aim to impart to students skills and techniques to allow them to begin executing projects straight away. The following workshops are available in November: Throwing on the Wheel with Cecily Willis; Glass Pendants with Natalie Jenkins, Drawing birds, feathers, eggs and nests with Jasmine Jan and The Lead and How to Swing It! with Jon Firth Cost of materials will be dependent on Project to hand. An Artist Business Specific workshop that aims to strengthen visual artists business skills to build a sustainable practice. This workshop includes tips and guidelines on preparing to talk to business about sponsorship opportunities. Topics covered include; Using and preparing the business case, Identifying what you can offer business, Finding a potential partner, Developing a proposal and Managing the relationship. The wall is approximately 2 metres high by 3 metres wide with a hanging rail. Works of emerging and/or established artists can be hung on a monthly basis, free of charge.
