The inaugural Up the Garden Path sculptural competition and exhibition will be held amongst the plantings at Olive Pink Botanic Garden. The theme of the exhibition is Desert Plants and Desert Places, and we are anticipating a diverse range of entries into the competition's five categories: Overall Winner; People's Choice; Youth; Desert Materials; and, Recycled or Found Objects. The masterclasses involve participants sending their work beforehand. Participants choose poems or short stories that will be examined beforehand by the tutor, and then in the masterclass with the other participants (subject to numbers and time constraints).
