DH61 Giant Moth VH-UJC 'Diana' (left) of QEA (Brain) and DH50J VH-ULG 'Hippomenes' (right) of QEA and built by Qantas (Allan) at Qantas hangar (built 1934), carrying first airmail service Aus-Eng (52,000 articles) despatched from Brisbane 10 December by HRH Duke of Gloucester (J. Weston was Darwin postmaster) (note ramp not yet completed).,
