Corporate Governance ( INTIHM AL REVUWt ? U Program reviews are a critical part of the Planning and Performance Management Cycle. Program reviews are obligatory under the Northern Territory financial and performance management framework and are a vital aspect of Territory Housings corporate planning and review process. In 2000-2001 each of the 4 outcome areas were reviewed: rental housing assistance; home ownership; Indigenous housing; and Government employee housing. The program reviews examined the extent to which relevant Government policies were reflected in Territory Housing outcomes and activities and reported on the efficiency and effectiveness ofTerritory Housing in achieving outcomes. The review encompassed activities and programs conducted from I July 1998 through to 30 June 2001. ......................... ................... In 2000-2001 a business risk assessment was completed for Territory Housing. The risk assessment identified the sources of risk: - National and Territory issues, - housing market; - technology; - community profile; - community expectations; - natural disaster; - natural environment; and - Government Business Division status. Areas of impact for each risk were identified in relation to policy development, performance management, service delivery and housing stock. The risk assessment report was submitted to the Audit Sub-Committee for approval and action. Actions following from the risk assessment will be included in the organisations action plans for 2001 -2002. The results of the review will be submitted to Housing Management Group for consideration in 2001 -2002 and subsequent action will be reported in Territory Housing's 2001 -2002 Annual Report.
