This report describes the mangrove communities for the approximately 92,000 ha of mangroves and salt flats that line the foreshores from the mouth of the Finniss River to and including the Adelaide River. The project is a compilation, standardisation and refinement of previous mangrove mapping of Darwin Harbour (Brocklehurst & Edmeades 1996a) and Bynoe Harbour (Brocklehurst & Edmeades 2003) and including new areas of mapping Shoal Bay, Gunn Point and the Adelaide River floodplain.
