This report is a summary of recent advances in the hydrogeological understanding of the Howard Groundwater System (HGWS) that will inform the preparation of a Howard Water Allocation Plan. The main components of this report are:
a description of the most recent version of the numerical flow model
a brief review of recent advances in understanding the physical properties of the HGWS, which have led to identification of geologic and hydrologic boundaries
details and results of applying various groundwater recharge estimation techniques and the potential effect of future climate change.,
