Charity Quilts Annie has requested that anyone making charity quilts please try and stick to the following sizes: Quilts of Love - 12, 20 and 24 inches Lap/wheelchair quilts - approx 50" x 50" Single bed quilts - approx. 65" x 75". A Charity Quilt Sewing Day will be held on Saturday 30th March 2019 - please come along and help stitch together some quilts to be donated to various local charity organisations. Australia Day the Pink Project by Helen Godden On Australia Day, our members gathered to make small quilts for the Pink Project for the McGrath Foundation. It was a wonderful day with lots of concentration and laughter. It was encouraging to see the members who had done only a little free motion quilting, having a go. A great variety of quilts were produced and when finished will be given to the McGrath nurses at the hospital so that these quilts stay in the territory. For those who did participate, please finish your quilts and then give them to me so I can give them to the nurses. Many thanks, Janelle Apologies to the ladies who were cut out of the group photo!
