The Project Support Offi cer positions are important members of the IAHA team and will play a crucial role in ensuring that IAHA project activities are focussed, engage with and have the support of community and other key stakeholders. They will form part of a new team that will focus on health promotion, education and learning, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student support, community engagement and project development focussed on establishing and progressing innovative education and career development pathways, notably IAHA Health Academies for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Projects emphasis culturally safe and responsive education and learning from school to VET and/or university training and into skilled employment. Couple/Family Counsellor Full Time, Darwin We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Couple and Family Counsellor to provide quality couple and family therapy/ clinical work with clients consisting of - individuals, couples and families which may include children, at our office in Darwin. This position works as part of a small team of passionate counsellors. It is desirable applicants will have post-graduate qualifications and training in Relationship Counselling along with experience in working with complex, high needs couples and families. Experience working with vulnerable, disadvantaged and Aboriginal and Torres Strait clients will be desirable. Eligibility for membership of an appropriate professional body is required. Redress Counsellor Full Time, Darwin We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Trauma Informed Counsellor to provide both counselling and case- work with clients who are considering applying for the National Redress Scheme. Clients will have experienced institutional child sexual abuse and may have been involved in the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. Experience working with vulnerable, disadvantaged and Aboriginal and Torres Strait clients will be desirable. This position will work within a small dedicated and passionate social justice team.
