Bakewell Primary School Office is open 7:30am until 4:00pm daily Crazy Hair Day Student Led Conferences September Ladies Dinner The next ladies dinner will be held on Thursday, 19 September from 7:00pm at Groove Train in Casuarina Square. This event is open to female Defence personnel and Defence spouses and is a great way to make new social connections. RSVP to larrakeyahhouse@hotmail.com for booking purposes. Please note that this event is self-funded. Dogs Day Out An ADF Families Event Defence Community Organisation are hosting a special event on Sunday, 29 September at Jingili Water Gardens. ADF members and their families are invited to join in on a dog-friendly morning walk from 9.30am 11.30am. In this exhibition style seminar, members can access information on areas including transition administration, future employment, finance and superannuation, Veteran support services and ADF Reserves. Representatives from other military support agencies and employment providers will also be available to assist with further information relevant to your transition. The Seminar will be held on Wednesday 9 October at the Darwin Convention Centre. For enquiries and registrations, please contact adf.transition@defence.gov.au Rattey Club Melbourne Cup Function The Rattey Club invites All Ranks, Defence partners and children to celebrate at their 2019 Melbourne Cup Function on Tuesday, 5 November from 12:00pm. A ploughmans lunch is included in the ticket price of $10 per person for early birds or $15 per person at the door. Prizes are on offer for the best dressed filly and stallion, and a live auction will take place on the day. Melbourne Cup Calcutta tickets can also be purchased for $5 each prior to the main event, with the Calcutta drawn on Monday 04 November. The Rattey Club is located at Larrakeyah Barracks.
