Machines not fitted with bed plates are exempt from carrying a Roll over Protection Structure until June 1987. or unless otherwise exempt by a Government Mining Engineer 3. Roll Over Protective Structures filled to mobile equipment. shall conform to the requirements of: Australian Standard As 2294-1979 "Protective Structures for Operators of Earth Moving Machines"; or equivalent code that is acceptable to the Chief Government Mining Engineer 4. Operators of mobile equipment fitted with Roll Over Protection Structures must wear seal belts. The relevant Australian Standard is As2664-"Earthmoving Machinery. Seat Belts and Seat Belt Anchorages.
