NTNE01Z01MA - V1 TOP ENDS FUNNIEST TO GET LAUGHS FLOWING THIS dry season has reaped a comic ambrosia for Darwinites with another top-class local comedy event hitting Browns Mart this weekend. Kicking off on Friday night, Laugh It Off 2019 presents the Top Ends funniest next-crop comedians performing their Agrade material. Anchored by MC and the award-winning local comedy legend Nicole Stevens over Friday and Saturday night, Darwins best comics, selected under the most trying of audition conditions (think Master Chef style elimin ation minus the sharp knives and cravats) will tickle the tastes of even the most discerning consumers of comedy. Those six comics ready to give the masses a merciless funny bone workout are: Nicole Stevens, Tom The Smiling Assassin Sheridan (prepare to be challenged by his edginess), Leah Potter (will leave you gagging with stories of life as a dominatrix), Justin Crooks (a New York born comedian and filmmaker whose comedy style is off beat and often unexpected), Garry OSullivan (the BOM employee often heard saying: hot enough for ya?) and Arun Alexander (the 2019 Raw Comedy grand finalist who speaks on family matters, cultural differences and general day-to day-mishaps which have shaped his view of humour as being more accidental in nature than intentional). Laugh It Off is a night for purveyors of fine stand-up comedy and clever story telling, explained Stevens.
