Join a training session Wednesday 5pm The West Arnhem Regional Council Youth, Sport and Recreation team, along with the Maningrida Pool team, hosted a disco in recognition of the school holidays coming to an end on July 18. There was an amazing lit-up dance floor and late night swimming set up for Maningridas young people. They enjoyed some fruit, chips and lollies to bring the school holidays to a close. There was also amazing dance talents displayed at the disco with a boys dance competition and a girls dance competition with winners coming in thirds, second and first place. First place winner received some sports equipment to take home. Both teams would like to say thank you to our dance competition judges Emma and Ed and to all the parents that came along to support their young ones. Meanwhile, the Maningrida Girls Dance Group have been preparing to enter the Evolution Dance Competition next weekend. ' This has included focusing on eating healthy foods to properly fuel their bodies for the strenuous physical exercise they have been doing in preparation to compete. They are extremely excited to be competing next week! There was also a community performance recently which was fantastic to see. TALENTS ON DISPLAY AT MANINGRIDA DISCO There was also amazing dance talents displayed at the disco.."
