The Tiwi Islands Water Resource Strategy provides a framework for how the fresh water resources of the Tiwi Islands will be used and managed over the next five years (2012–2016). It aims to ensure long term sustainability of the resource, while also providing a basis for decision making regarding the use and management of fresh water on the Tiwi Islands.
