Newsletter ~ Monday 28th October https://us7.campaign-archive.com/?u=6a6b0cfafebf2f5f89550f76c&id=1f9d4b2a7a[7/04/2020 11:51:57 AM] Class Six Hi Class 6 Families, A reminder that our parent meeting is on tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday 29th October at 3pm. Hope to see then. Zara Class Seven This Newsletter I would like to pay tribute to Shane, our French teacher. Shane is Ciara's dad and a policeman, who comes in to volunteer his time on a weekly basis to teach the class French. I support him in this, although my French skills are less than his. Shane's classes are full of laughter and engagement as he coaxes each student to speak. Recently he came in laden with french delicacies (croissant, Camembert, baguette) and we role played purchasing something from a bakery. All was going well when Julian's turn came around. He had been secretly searching the French Dictionary for extra vocabulary, and with these new tools declared that it was a hold up and that he had a revolver! Thank you so much Shane, for all that you do for our pioneering class 7!
