Newsletter ~ Monday 28th October https://us7.campaign-archive.com/?u=6a6b0cfafebf2f5f89550f76c&id=1f9d4b2a7a[7/04/2020 11:51:57 AM] EARLY CHILDHOOD CLASSES Billy Button Dear families and friends of Billy Button, Welcome to week 3, we are settling in again nicely, the first weeks back after a break can be a little bit tricky but we soon get back into the rhythms and routines quickly. A friendly reminder to please ensure that children have at least one pair of spare clothes to change into as they are really enjoying engaging in water and sand play at the moment. Please take a moment to check the washing line also for any clothing that may belong to your child, including socks, thank you. We started having porridge with creamy milk and honey again on Fridays for morning tea and the children just absolutely loved it! How wonderful, so nourishing and good for them! Important dates and information It is really lovely catching up with families during our parent teacher meetings and discussing how things are going with your children overall, for other day to day matters and required conversations I am always available to have a quick chat in the mornings or afternoons as well as happy to make a further appointment for extended matters. Please remember to come and speak to me directly about any information regarding your children, so that I can put into action and plan appropriate supports when and where needed - Thank you. Christmas Festival Our end of year Christmas Festival will be on the 2nd last Friday of the term on the 6th of December from 8:30 to 11:00am (programme details will be outlined closer to the date). Our festival is a week earlier this year in consideration for families who have children both in Cassia and Billy Button. Please lock this date in your diary - Thank you Have a great week ahead Blessings from Sonja - Billy Button Teacher
