Newsletter ~ Monday 24th February 2020 https://us7.campaign-archive.com/?u=6a6b0cfafebf2f5f89550f76c&id=834e005371[7/04/2020 11:55:21 AM] Welcome to week 5, What a pleasant week it was last week, the children are still getting to know each other and the rhythms and routines of the days. Our first day in Billy Button, although it is a Thursday and heading toward the end of the week for us big people, it is for little ones somewhat like the beginning of their week and a Monday. With this in mind it is really important that little ones have a restful night the night before, somewhat like you might do so on a Sunday night. This will assist little ones with the transition into their Billy Button days and support them in regulating their rhythms and ease any separation anxieties lingering. It was lovely to see the children enjoying some lovely group play both inside and outside and they were delighted at the cubby building happening during inside play. You may also start to hear snippets of songs and play that the children will be carrying into their play and days at home. Here is the morning tea blessing that we sing at morning tea time. Blessings on the blossom Blessings on the roots Blessings on the leaves and stems And blessings on the fruits. (Spoken - Blessings on our morning tea, peace upon the earth and blessings on me and you!) Wishing everyone a wonderful week, Blessings Sonja and Milla. Ruby Saltbush Welcome to week 5, This week we will celebrate the 4th birthday of Otis Happy Birthday to our dear friend! This week Ruby Saltbush now attends all three days with Wednesday the 26th of February hours being from 8:30am- 12:30pm, please remember to pack their lunches as normal, as we will be following the same routines each day up until 12:30pm. Children will be very excitedly waiting at 12:30pm for pick up on Wednesday and may be a little tired at the end of the day as they adjust to the extra hours of school.
