We made a visit to the library and also the garden, have been practicing our tables and learning a new song. This week we have also been learning a list of spelling words and making up sentences using those words. Some have even tried putting as many words as they can in one sentence, which can be very funny indeed! Most children have finished their own book of the 7 Days of Creation and we will read these all together this week. We have heard about the Garden of Eden and how Adam and Eve were banished from the beautiful garden. Some children wrote their own sentences to accompany their drawings. We have also been in the garden to harvest snake beans and they are extremely tasty! The garden is flourishing and we have been lucky enough to be eating deliciously juicy watermelon during our lunch breaks too. Talking of food, please make a note that class 3 is now a NUT FREE ZONE. We have a child in the class who is highly allergic to nuts, so to ensure the childs safety and comfort, please do not pack any nuts for your childs morning tea or lunch from now on.
