Description

This report presents the findings and recommendations of a sub-project (D) within the Darwin Harbour Integrated Marine Monitoring and Research Program (IMMRP). The aims of project D were to investigate methods to assess seasonal variation in mangrove health and condition within the major mangrove assemblages in Darwin Harbour. Ultra high-resolution Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) imagery collected at various sites within the Darwin Harbour study area was used to validate mangrove biophysical variables derived from a number of Landsat and Sentinel-2 satellite sensors.,
