A benthic sediment sampling survey was undertaken in the Outer Harbour Region of Darwin Harbour, which includes Shoal Bay, in the period from 05 February 2020 to 22 April 2020. The survey forms a component of a sediment quality pilot project within the Integrated Marine Monitoring and Research Program that is entitled Developing (and trialling) robust sample designs for change detection, and that involves broad-scale assessments of sediment quality in Darwin Harbour through benthic sampling campaigns to East Arm, the Outer Harbour Region and Middle and West Arms. The pilot project is funded by the INPEX-operated Ichthys LNG Project.,
