CLOSING DATE SUNDAY 15 NOVEMBER 2020 RANGER GROUP COORDINATOR- RGI00- LAJAMANU CL 5 - CL 6 (Commencing $71,156 progressing to $88,283) contracted to 30 June 2024 Based in Lajamanu, this position will coordinate, supervise and support the development of the North Tanami Rangers. The coordinator will work with the Rangers, traditional owners, the broader Community and other stakeholders in implementing a wide range of identified natural and cultural resource management actions in the region. The successful applicant will have relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated professional competence in ecology, natural resource management or related fields and have demonstrated experience in the effective coordination and supervision of small teams. Strong cross-cultural awareness, good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with Aboriginal people is essential. A key aspect of the role is supporting the management, preservation and provision of access to the CLC's (digital) archives collections, i.e. data migration and management, preserving and creating long-term access to electronic records and digital archives. The position would suit someone with initiative, experience and qualifications in information and records management and/or training and education, a flexible and 'can do'- approach, and who can contribute to a changing environment.
