Belyuen Community Government Council Annual Report 2018-2019 40 | P a g e Core Services 2018-19 Activity Performance Objective Assessment Advocacy and representation on local and regional issues Development of proactive partnerships with government agencies, nongovernment sector, the private sector and the development of partnerships with key stakeholders Council continues to participate in TOPROC and explore shared service options with Darwin and Wagait Councils Council liaises regularly with Land Councils, NGOs and the private sector Council has support partnership with Rotary. Council has formally established a Working Group with Coomalie Council. The Group is working on a proposal to present to the Hon. Gerald McCarthy re amalgamation of the two councils. Council has not attended TOPROC meetings due to staff shortages.
