The overall objective of this study is to provide an improved understanding of the surface water hydrology of Keep River catchment in order to determine the availability of surface water within the catchment and to establish a baseline under the current level of development.
This technical assessment will be used along with other related land and water assessments, in an overarching project to assess the feasibility of the Keep River Plain for development of irrigated agriculture as a part of Ord Stage 3 Feasibility Study. This study will contribute to understanding surface water characteristics of the Keep River, including hydrological inputs for the assessment of flood risks and preparation of flood inundation potential maps in the lower Keep River plain.,
