Abstract
This report presents findings from a Digital Soil Mapping (DSM) investigation of the southern part of Flying Fox Station (53 000 ha), in the Roper River Region of the Northern Territory. It is a companion study to the land unit investigation of Andrews et al. (2021a) (see Part A of this report series); and draws heavily upon the findings and supporting data from that work. The current project was undertaken to test the applicability, usefulness and practicality of DSM for detailed agricultural land evaluation within the Northern Territory; and presents findings on preferred model inputs, modelling mechanics, implementation issues and the legitimacy of the modelled outputs. Modelled products include raster-based soil and landscape attribute surfaces and detailed agricultural land suitability maps at an equivalent scale of 1: 100 000.,
