History

Moresby sailors were bought to Darwin for a mutiny hearing in 1945. This was the second act of mutiny aboard the Moresby and the last incident in RAN history where personnel were charged for mutinous incidents. She was also part of the convoy that went to Koepang in Timor for the Japanese surrender on 11 September 1945. The surrender ceremony was held aboard her.,
