History

Holland performed repairs to battle damaged submarines. She was escorted to Darwin from Soerabaja, Java after escaping two air raids while at Balikpapan, Borneo. During her time in Darwin she performed round-the-clock operations which included the building of docks and floats as well as the constant repair and equipping of ships and submarines.,
