History

Nautilus took part in the Battle of Midway and fired a torpedo at the Kaga, it failed to detonate but the Nautilus escaped unharmed. On her 10th patrol to Negros Island she carried ammunition, oil and dry stores and loaded up with evacuees including a German POW whom she dropped off in Darwin. Nautilus ended her last and 14th war patrol in Darwin before returning to the United States.,
