History

This Unit was formed at Darwin December 1944 and equipped with PBY5 Catalina aircraft. As well as air sea rescue the Unit was involved in leaflet drops - searches - POW evacuation - medical evacuations and courier and supply operations. The Unit was disbanded 1946.,
