27 | NORTHERN TERRITORY PLANNING COMMISSION Financial Performance Planning Commission Budget The Planning Commission is financially supported by the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics. The Northern Territory Government allocated $370 000 to the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics to fund the Planning Commission to develop strategic plans and planning policy, and to advise on significant development proposals. From 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021, the Planning Commission expended about $267 000 or 72.16 per cent of the budget.
